When we start consultancy studies about Digital Hospital Design or Information Master Plan, Leader Health wishes to enlighten its clients by carrying out strategic vision seminars, comparative studies or satisfaction surveys.
These products are also the means to discover the quality and seriousness of our services in a short time and at a reasonable price.
Leader Health is often led to produce a comparative analysis of the richness of a Hospital Information System (HIS). Common methods are generally limited to drawing up an overall assessment, without figures, and can sometimes be biased by the interplay of players or markets. This is why our approach is above all objective, neutral and enlightened by providing the detailed functionalities of :
18 major HIS functions around the patient (administrative and medical), totaling more than 850 items representing a certain “state of the art of medical HIS”.
12 major transverse HIS functions, totaling more than 950 items representing a certain “state of the art of HIS administrative and support functions”.
The approach is based on the analysis of the detailed functionalities of the 8 largest software packages on the market and responses to calls for tenders from our customers. It provides information on the richness and functional maturity of an information system and enables us to compare its situation with respect to the state of the art (the market) or that of comparable sites.
In the absence of “Digital Hospital” standards, the Leader Health network has built a “master benchmark” of innovative solutions recognized as such by our experts in some forty sites. Based on our vision of a Digital Hospital (based on the real experience of our experts) these innovative digital solutions are divided into 5 domains:
- The hospital communicating (internally and externally)
- Logistics and medical-technical production automatized
- The Intelligent Building
- Advanced management and maintenance, eco-efficiency
and then grouped in a questionnaire that allows you to position your project against the major reference achievements.
The Impact Survey©leaderhealth
The objective is to have a confidence indicator (on the IT Department as an actor and on the Information System as a helping tool) calculated from the users’ feelings. This approach complements the rationality of the audits and technical tools provided by Leader Health or recognized support structures. The solution is developed by Leader Health with its partner ManaTea WebDesign. A tool used on about fifty sites allowing “hindsight” on its results. A 100% anonymous survey mode on a tool accessible from inside and outside the hospital, individual PCs or Smart Phone.
Around thirty personalized questions in 3 minutes. A relay via the IT department (Intranet, email, etc.), the care management (nursing staff), communication (changing rooms, canteen, pay slips). An appreciated collection, used by Leader Health in all its strategic approaches to new technologies.
State of the Art Seminar©leaderhealth
Leader Health’s “digital hospital” vision comes from the experience acquired by professional LH experts and consultants working in innovative hospitals around the world. In order to share this structuring vision of a digital hospital with our clients in the process of reflection, we are organizing a “State of the Art” seminar on site. This seminar aims to bring together international experts from Leader Health, who come to share their experience, which constitutes the field of possibilities within the framework of the client’s construction project. The seminar is an opportunity to exchange with peers their real experience in digital hospital projects (REX). Then, Leader Health explains how the network of experts built the model supporting the Digital Hospital vision and its rationale. Finally, we interact with the teams to demystify the concept and create the dynamics.
